Associate Professor
Dr. Daniel Pérez Ramírez is Professor (Profesor Titular) in the Department of Applied Physics at the University of Granada. His research focuses on aerosol characterization and atmospheric remote sensing, with particular emphasis on multi-wavelength lidar and radiometric techniques for Earth observation. He earned his PhD at the University of Granada and carried out postdoctoral research at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, contributing to advanced lidar systems for future space missions. He has led several competitive European projects, including Marie Curie and Horizon Europe initiatives, and maintains strong international collaborations.
